Sounds like you have Savage fever. I did... I side-by-side compared the GZ250 and LS650 in the Suzuki showroom... then on the road. I've always been a small bike owner and the GZ250 is a nice looking bike that out-performs any other in its class. I too live in Texas where the winds really get to whipping up a bit... it ain't the headwinds that bother me, it's those durn crosswinds. I opted for the Savage because it provides considerably more power than the GZ250, which I need for my 70mph spurts on the way to and from work. The Savage is a blast to ride - enjoyable - fun to show off. But, if you do serious highway riding you'd do best to get yourself one of those big heavy twin cruisers.
